"Osprey" or Peregrine. or even Kestrel. I know they are all birds of Prey, but isn't that what the AB139 is supposed to be.

It is going to be hard to come up with a good and original name - Osprey is the V-22 Tilt-Rotor and Kestrel was used for the Hawker P.1127, which was a forerunner of the original Harrier.

Well if Kestrel hasn't been used for 30 plus years, it could be a goer.

AW-139 Swift. Sounds good, but conjures up the RAF Swift fighter of teh 1950's, a failure that was withdrawn after limited service.

Swift is a bird that only lands to nest or die...It even mates on the wing
Hardly appropriate for a Heli?

exactly only lands to die or nest i.e. the day it stops flying is the day it is retired!but we dont have to look into the meaning of each name so much!i thought swift because it is fast!

How's about AB139 Plastic Wonder!
A Blackhawk it is not. Lovely machine but Pongo boots could be a bit hard on the plastic interior.
