An eight ship formation of U.S ANG F-15's passed off the south coast aprrox 17.20 this evening enroute to Lakenheath, according to a friend listening in to the airwaves. Dont know how close they actaully came to the south coast though, anyone down that way see contrails???

These are from the Oregon ANG and after Lakenheath will continue to Bulgaria for an exercise.

For anyone's who's intrested it turns out it was 6 F-15C's (Mazda 1-6) accompanied by 2 KC-135's.

Not a great day for contrails down south today, and most of them transit well south of mizen usually.
