Well... how was it? I had commitments in Limerick and couldn't make it up to Salthill. Got as far as Shannon and was rewarded with the reds in arrow formation overflying r24 with smoke and then breaking both left and right to land! I'm sure the full display was as good as ever.  'applause'

i enjoyed every minute! special mention should go to the two A III's which stole the show for me,hadn't seen one up close since i was a kid playing in the don, they really are in great nick,we should do everything possible to keep one air worthy as a historic flight once more 135's come on stream

f-15's were loud!! but the flying display was nothing special, very sedate flypasts bar one near verticle climb that sent nearly every child present into tears!
surprised that these were armed too (four sidewinders apiece)

red arrows were simply stunning,no other team comes close

merlin display was great, wish we had two of these  and the seaking finished things off nicely with a wee jaunt down the flightline 'pilot_cheesy'

well worth the round trip drive from dublin
