My wife, son & I attentded RIAT in the clean & pristine surroundings of the Cotswolds. We were introduced to fighters, ground attack & bomber aircraft & told of their capabilities (in a boisterous & proud manner). In my humble opinion this is a family day out with no politics involved whatsoever.
Absolute classic!!! Not a weird-beard, treehugging, pseudo-socialist in sight (or earshot).
One reason to love the Brits.

Never been to Riat at Fairford, but have been to many other UK shows, among them Alconbury, Mildenhall, Finningly, Leaming, Leuchars. Always had a really good time. The shows are about aviation regardless of the tailfin badges.

Roll on Leuchars, for us its a family day out.
