PC-9M WELCOME PATCH
« on: December 08, 2003, 09:52:47 pm »
All you aircraft fanatics out there.

As I patch collector I just came up with a great idea.
We all complain about a new patch for the PC-9M but why not create one ourselves.

I know the company who makes the patches for the RNLAF and to be honnest... the costs aren't that high.

If anyone has a sketch and/or idea please let me know.
The minimum order will be 100 patches but to my opinion that won't be that hard to get ride of.

Please some feedback on this idea please.

Not a bad idea at all, Guinness.

However, I reckon that the Air Corps 'drivers' will probably organise a PC-9 patch in the coming months (perhaps similar to the Marchetti patch I'm using as my avatar).

Now if you wanted to organise a FOUGA comemmorative patch, you can count me in !

(..........better late than never ! ':<img:'> )

OK all but nice but let's cut the Cr*p!!!

I'm realy thinking about it of havinga patch created.
My idea is a patch where a leprechaun is holding a PC-9M with the words "Welcome to Ireland" in Gailic.

To personalise the patch we can order them withe the text"........Welcomes the PC-9M to Ireland" with your name/ callsign on the dotts.

I do have contact to have these made!!!!!!!.

Hope to hear from you about this idea.

No offence, but why in 'Gailic'?  why not in English, as spoken by about 99%[if not the whole 100%] of the population.
Or better still, let's pay lip-service to the laws of this rock and have it in both laungages.
It's a nice idea, do you think you can shift enough to make it worth while?
Ireland, no jets, no future!

Turkey and others,

If there's anybody in the Air Corps reading this it might be worth to ask around.

I'll contact F/Sgt. Perkins for this idea as he's "the man in charge over the patches"

I realy think that 100 can be sold.
In Holland every sqn makes patches for each occacion e.g. exercises, deployments etc.
