Just for everyones info due to cutbacks the RAF have pulled their Merlin and Harrier display aircraft this year and the last of the Jags(12 of them) flew a couple of weeks ago to say bye-bye so none of them either!!

Sorry to see the RAF Hawk has dissappeared from the listing. We have still got one solo jet though. Must be a very difficult job to organise an airshow, let alone a FREE one. Well done to the organisers!

A report in today's Irish Times says that the USAF Thunderbirds (said to number eight aircraft) will be supported on their deployment to Shannon by two KC-10s and two C-17s. It said that the KC-10s will be refuelling the F-16s at least three times while en route Pittsburgh to Shannon but it's not clear if the tankers will also land at Shannon or maybe continue on to the UK or Europe. The Irish tricolour will be added to the flag panel on the team's aircraft for their Irish visit and will continue to be carried afterwards. The arrival date was not given.
