Hi Vulcan

Brilliant photos Vulcan on all the threads !!!!!

Had a great day Sunday despite the weather
Shame I had only one day to visit. Next year it will be a 2-day visit
There were so much static aircraft to get through I never got to see all
Particularly annoyed that I didn’t get to see our very own AW139.
She does look impressive

Roll on 2008

Hi Joey

Glad you had good time and you seem to be hooked like I thought you would.  You do need both days to see everything, we get the public grandstand on one day, usually the Saturday and do the static stuff on the other.  Have you converted your wife yet?  Any way nice to have met the two of you and been able to put a face to the name and like you say, roll on 2008!

Hi Vulcan

Yep!
My wife is now an apostle of the airshow fanatic cult!!

She was amazed at the enormous scale of the event, with static as far as the eye could see
She loved the formation teams and agreed that the Frecce Tricolori, were the best
It was a pity we had only one day to see both static & flying you were right about needing 2 days I was disappointed that I never got to see the IAC’s AW 139
She looks impressive in your photo did you get a chance to talk to any of the crew?

Next year will be a 2-day visit   and my son may be going too
It was really nice to meet you a shame it was a bit of a rush for my wife & I trying to cram everything with so little time too spare

Next stop Bray Sun Aug 5, it’s looking like an all-Irish affair with some new arrivals to the airshow scene

NI International Airshow in Portrush Sept 8-9

Although not on the official web site the Red arrows / Eurofighter Typhoon & Team Guinot has been confirmed

Once Again thank you for all your help & advice over the last few months and we  look forward to next year
Roll on RIAT 2008!!!!!
