Air Corps in Hungarian Aviation Magazine

Whilst wandering around southern Hungary last weekend pointing our cameras at anything with wings (& some that didnt) a colleague spotted "Aranysas" a Hungarian aviation magazine on sale at a petrol station located beside an Ilyushin 18 airliner ! What drew his attension was the PC-9 on the cover. Now, my Hungarian is a bit rusty & to be honest, the other heads with me are no better, so all I can say is it was written by Wim Das & Kees Otten. Photos appear to be supplied by the IAC. Excellent shot of 262 off the Aran Islands, 2 PC-9's abeam the LE Eithne, an 8 ship formation, a shot of the sim & a shot of an EC.135.

Hi Joe,
Well isin't posh wandering around Hungary for the weekend, it's OK though, I spent the weekend at Skerries! And another thing were it not for a mispent youth of watching aircraft at dublin AP you might have had time to learn Hungarian and tell us what the Magazine said!

The "Stoop" for the grub, Nealons for the pint (as long as my son is buying) Yep see you at the fair on 25th. That was a nice pic of the PC9's passing the L.E. Copter in the the Hungarian mag. Thanks for posting.

As a matter of curiosity can anybody identify the bit of landsape road and sea or lakeshore beneath the eight ship Fouga formation photo. At first glance thought Blessington lakes but not sure .... Lovely pictures

As far as I know the picture pf the 8 PC-9's was taken over Blessington, an EC135 waited in the hover while the 8 aircraft passed underneath.
