Air Corps PC-9M Website
« on: October 21, 2003, 02:00:14 am »
Hi Guys,

Spotted this website on the IMO board, it's a website dedicated to the new Air Corps Piliatus PC-9M trainers.

http://geocities.com/pc9m_pc9m/

The website has been put together by Dangermouse (I think) and it's very detailed, it includes info on the engines, weapons, cockpit, everything.

Well worth a look.

Regards,

Frank.

Yeah, but the Jamaican forces enjoy the privelige of being able to fly all year 'round, not just for the few months when the vis is ok! Many's the time we'd DI the Fougas, push them out onto the ramp only to bring them back in 'cos the vis was too low!

what do you guys think
evey cadet from 2004 on will be taking a running jump backwards when they finish the wings course, as the pc-9 will the most advanced a/c in the fleet.
just picture yourself, you spend 14 months flying one of the best if not the best single engine a/c in the world, you graduate and are then handed the checklist for a 172!
the only possible step up is a casa and even then its right seat fms programing.
i feel for the new guys but it would be worth it just to fly the PC-9

Great website Frank.  The IAC will be the envy of many forces when we have the PC-9Ms patrolling our skies!

Wow FF what a change, I seem to remember we'd be the envy of many air forces (especially the Swiss if I'm correct) when we received all the shinny new jets.
