Does nobody own a camera up there?  Us poor folk in the west don't get to see these delights, so a few pics would be very nice!

Cheers for the details Snapper.

Well not to be outdone, the Air Corps decided to lash the Learjet overhead there a few minutes ago - extremely fast, extremely low

Surprisingly quiet aircraft!

Nope - it must have been something else you saw/heard:airforce_sad:

Definitely only three Alpha Jets - I saw them taxi out and depart from r/w 11 and none of them returned to do did a circuit.

If there's so many of them up there lately, could you send one home via Galway? :airforce_laugh: :jaw-dropping:

Just for everyone's info! The most recent Alphas that left Bal went to RAF Valley where they still are. Their on a on a two week deployment carrying out Low Level sorties in the MTA (Mountain Training Area) and ACM with 19Sqn Hawks.

Hey Machlooper,

The four Alphas @ Valley are different aircraft to the three that visited Baldonnel.

E7, E10, E38 & E118.

LoL !!

I know, only pulling your leg!! Sorry
Ive seen them at low level and the reg's are different alright.
The ones that left Bal did go to Valley though according to reports Ive seen on a U.K forum???
They could have done an overshoot and headed on as they do sometimes, on their inbound journey??
I think the ones on deployment may have gone home today as they were'nt spotted at L/L as they have been throughout their stay. There is rumours of Polish Mig-29's coming to Valley for deployment by the end of the summer but these have died down of late. Would be nice if they popped over to Bal for  an overnight! :applause:
