Don't know if any of you saw the coverage of the Israeli celebrations of the 60 anniversary of the foundation of the state, but if you missed it, they rolled out their Fougas for a flying display.

It's just past half way on the video clip, although to be honest, there's not much to see.

those aren't exactly Fouga's as we know them. They are IAI tzukit's. Completely different cockpits, some composite parts/panels and many other upgrades. I do think they are the very last military operator of a Fouga descendant though. We (Belgium) were the last in Europe. Maybe one in south-America?

You got it on the head there Tony. All aircraft are self-servicing, no maintenance required. Just kick the tyres, light the fires and away we go!
