il be there after all, my holiday to santa ponsa has been cancelled!woman problems, but at least i still have the airshow!il be on the cliff to get close ups of the bigger planes that will be coming in!

I can see the whole thing being cancelled or at the very least a load of no-shows.

I don`t want to sound like a doom and gloom merchant but I would hate people to travel a long distance to stand in the wind/rain and see nothing.I live near Aldergrove so it`s not too far for me to travel to Portrush but some of you lot have a long journey ahead.

It seems the north and northern part of Ireland (Portrush Included) will get the best of the weather

So did anyone go to this?!I was there. Going to get pics up asap.The weather was brilliant for it.It was my first outing with my new camera so the pictures were not as good as i hoped they would turn out!Still got a few good ones though!

Went both days and VERY lucky with the weather!.
We hired a cottage and drove up on Friday and the rain started at 3pm and belted down until the small hours-I thought the show would be cancelled but the sun came out and th 20mph winds helped dry the ground.

Generally all the displays were very good,but again too many no-shows for my liking.
The Red Arrows displays both days were the full shows but not as accurate flying as I have seen from them in the past-I know it`s only little mistakes but on looking at the pics I took (I took loads) every formation at least one aircraft was out of position,sometimes by a big margin.

Rumours abound that there won`t be a show next year
