Late late show... ELITE - Heuberg Range
« on: November 08, 2008, 01:58:50 pm »
Hi Guys,

I'm currently working through my pictures from this year's rainy season and I just finished off my pictures from the Heuberg Range, Germany, which was the focal point of this year's ELITE exercise.

I'm currently working through my pictures from this year's rainy season and I just finished off my pictures from the Heuberg Range, bad weather and bad positioning on the day I was at Heuberg (both unfortunately out of my control) didn't help matters. Anyway, enough blaming everything else, on with the show, below are a sample of my shots, more can be found here::

Regards,

Frank.

We were taking shelter from the elements in the ruins of a bunker when this guy roared overhead, managed to get one shot off before he disappeared

The trees in the range area were huge, completely dwarfing this Belgian A-109

Flares were used quite frequently by both the helicopters and the transports

Flares weren't the only things being used by the various aircraft and helicopters, chaff was being pumped out too
