Excellent news, both for aviation enthusiasts & Galway
It will be a massive boost to the city. Once again there will be tens of thousands of people on the sea front for the show. Even bigger boost if the Arrows turn up. The Air Corps always put on a great display. Big events like this show the city in a vibrant & modern light & that helps attract tourists & new business ! Galway is getting the hang of organising big events, look at the success of the Volvo Ocean Race ! Best of luck to the organisors.
Of note are the comments of "utter disgust and outrage " by some head proclaiming her represetation of "the peace loving people of Ireland" . This is good as these people need to be outraged from time to time to keep them happy
