It was mentioned on RTE`s Drive Time on Radio 1.Even had the air corps press officer on. That the air corps due to the snow have been called in to help out with medical transport like yesterday with transporting a patient from Cork to Bandon.( I think).

Today again same radio programme had a AW139 pilot on and he said they were very busy and had a lot of expecting mothers to deal with with a lot of patients being brought to Dublin. They also had to land at Mc Kee barracks Dublin to transport a expecting to Hollis street National maternity Hospital.

...and getting some coverage and credit, finally, as the Air Corps and not as 'an army helicopter'.
There were an article or two in Irish Independent as well.

They will still probly be called "an Army helicopter" even if the AC is called the Irish Air Force.

If it is doing an ambulance job, rescue or bringing in fodder its called an Army Heli if involved in an accident or unfortunate incident it is called an Air Corps Heli.
