Dublin ATC strike and GASU ops
« on: January 20, 2010, 04:27:53 pm »
Today, 20th Jan 2010, there is no Dublin ATC between 14:00 and 18:00 (local).

So, if/when a GASU aircraft takes to the skies over the capital, who are they in contact with? EIME surely aren't assuming control for all EIDW controlled airspace during the strike?

Is it just as simple as announcing to "traffic" their movements within the 'zone' during the outage?

Id guess they would just communicate with Baldonnel Military Radar.
