Air ambulance services to Dublin hospitals
« on: March 13, 2010, 10:22:15 pm »
I was having a discussion with a friend in the medical profession and the topic of air ambulance services came up, including the ability of the Dublin area hospitals to accept helicopters.

To the best of my knowledge OLCH Crumlin, Beaumont, JCM Blanchardstown and Tallaght can accept helicopters but none has a dedicated helipad, while the Mater and Temple Street can't facilitate heli's on campus. Not sure about James's.

Can anyone provide a definitive on a hospital by hospital basis as to whether they can or can not accept air ambulance on campus and which have a hard/dedicated helipad.

Cheers
