Now Recruiting Picture Screeners

Hi Guys,

The time has finally come, I'm recruiting a screener or screeners. Screening photos takes up a good bit of my time and I'm falling behind in other areas such as editing my own photos and adding new sections to the website so what I'm looking to do is share the workload in order to free up more of my time but more importantly I want to have a faster turnover of the upload queue.

So, here are the requirements, Anyone interested in becoming a screener must have:

• At least 250 pictures accepted in the database
• An acceptance ratio of 70% or more
• At least 50 pictures accepted within the last 6 months

Oh and of course you can't screen your own pictures!

The reason for the above conditions is the assumption that you'll have been through the screening process and you'll have an idea of what I am or am not looking for when screening.

If anyone is interested in becoming a screener please send me a PM. If an interest is there I will start writing the necessary software (well, I'll try to anyway) and put together some form of training / reference page for the new screeners.

I can't offer money or, well, anything really, I can upgrade your account to ensure you don't have any adverts or watermarks to look at when viewing pictures.

Just to give you an update on the screener recruitment, Joe McDermott and corkspotter both volunteered to be screeners and they were welcomed with open arms.

I'm currently in the process of updating the screener area so it will be a few weeks yet before the two lads are "fully operational", I'll have to do a bit of training with them as well, but all going well they should be on stream within the next month or so.

Now for those of you out there with any privacy concerns the screeners do not have access to your email address or ip address and the largest picture that they have access to is the 1024 pixel wide version of your image, the same size as is available to all website users.

Thanks Thurian, but I believe I am only a "Probi Screener" at this time. Frank reckons I will have to undergo complete retraining at Screeners Bootcamp
