Common Defence Policy

if the european contry want a common air force , the first step is to have common equipment and training.
Like the usa , the country air force would divide in a common european air force (usaf) command by the european community and a european national air force (ANG) command by each european state

What do you reckon about a Common Defence Policy for Europe? We already have the Euro, is this the shape of Things to come?

If so would this be the End of the Air Forces of Europe and the beginning of the "European Air Force?
