EI-CPC

Repainted and going to URAL AIRLINES, question is, who owns her? will she continue to carry the Irish reg?
Will Aer Lingus replace her or are they just going to cut back on capacity?

A further 2 A321's will be removed from the fleet early next year (2011). They will be replaced by 4 new A320's with the last arriving in April (i think).

Rumour has it that PD and PF are due to go in March / April, with four new 320's joining the fleet. Further rumour that EI-DVM (320) will be painted in retro scheme - now that will be nice (if true). :suspect:

Hope it is the 70's livery. The one with Irish airlines in the title. :ireland:

Do you mean the 1960s one with the white roof?  The 1970s one was introduced in 1974, I think, and immediately preceded the present Aer Lingus livery.

The one that was mostly white and I thought there was one between that and the current livery.

This is what I would class as the 1970s livery, given that it was introduced in 1974:

This is the 1960s one which I understand will be used for the "retro" A320:

Here (in the absence of a decent colour snap of anything suitably dressed) is someone's Artists Impression of some EI retro liveries.

The expected arrival is the second from the bottom (which, BTW, along with the current scheme is my personal favourite)

Was there a livery launced in the 80's? The current is from 1996.
the 60's livery was the one I was hoping for instead of the 70's (the 737).

It was mentioned a while back alright, would there be any significant cost advantage in flying a full 318/319 over a  85-90%  full 320? plus you lose the flexibility of the larger A/C. Just my tuppence worth.
