Looks like were sending a CASA to Fairford next week for the International Air Tattoo!!  This must be the 5th maybe 6th time weve done so. Hasnt been the same since the fougas were scrapped though!! AH, the tales of drunken techies getting a medical(!!) from RAF nurses on the wing of a fouga and the lads being mistaken for f-117 crew because of their dark flyin suits, chancers!!! Thems were the days!! At least the "Swallows" have their name on the Lockheed Canestra Trophy!!

Hey P.Doff, I went to Fairford last year and there was a flying display by a Belgian Fouga, during the display the commentator made a few complimentary references to the Silver Swallows. Mind you I work with a very narrow minded bigot who takes every opportunity to take the piss out of (not just) the Irish, what he forgets is that he is the one that has the letters on his file for fu*k ups!

The lads that came back from fairford said it was a fantastic show with the USAF sending a B2 from the states two days in a row to do a few fly pasts and head back across the atlantic!! A lot of tax payers money there eh?
