Crash Site's around Ireland
« on: March 07, 2012, 03:05:06 am »
This link was passed on to me by a chap called Dennis Burke

http://www.csn.ul.ie/~dan/war/crash_articles.htm

This is what he wrote:

This website provides a source of information for family, friends and WWII aviation enthusiasts interested in finding out more about foreign aircraft crashes and their crews involved in crashes in or around the Ireland during 1939-1945. This site does not focus the many hundreds of crashes which occurred in and around Northern Ireland during the same period.

Whether you know the name, dates, departure or crash site of the crew, this website hopes to provide you with some additional information you may find useful.

If you would like submit an inquiry to me, please visit the Contact Me page, I'll be happy to assist you to the best of my abilities.
Dennis Burke.

I went snooping Damian, see names are nice.

Ascot made the header for my site and provided some of the details presented in the C-47 crash in Kerry, Dec 1943 article.  I've a few more pages to add with info/photos you sent me.

regards
Dennis
