I acquired tho a info while following another post in Boards.ie

This is a "heads up" Regards a visit by the  the PBY Catalina (G-PBYA) to our shores on Sat 24th
You can read the full story here.   http://projecthawker2013.com/

I also acquired  the flight schedule  of the above mentioned aircraft's visit so it may be worthwhile hanging around Weston Aerodrome this sat afternoon.

The schedule published is as follows (subject to verification and weather conditions )

The relevant part of Saturday's schedule (including Dun Laoghaire and Weston) is:
1100 Depart EGEO Oban and overfly Oban Harbour then coastal route south to overfly North Coast and Kiells (Hawker set down for repairs here)
1156 Larne and then coastal route south
1226 Kilkeel and then enter Irish airspace
1241 Skerries
1242 Loughshinny
1245 Rush
1250 Baily Lighthouse
1252 Display at Dun Laoghaire followed by landing at EIWT Weston for fuel uplift
1406 Bray Head
1436 Continue south coastal route to Rosslare and then depart Irish airspace

I was luck enough to have flown alongside the Catalina as it departed Weston on Saturday and got some shots of it departing, this attached shot is one of my favourites.

So Tony, this has props, does it meet with your approval?

Great shots  BB
Apparently she was slightly delayed so she missed some scheduled points in the north of the country  looks like she didn't disappoint at Dun Laoghire  :buttrock: :buttrock:
