Thanks for that, Tony, like I said before why don't you write a definitive version of the Irish Air Corps? Having only 'McCarrons version to go on leaves big gaps in there!
The idea of a European Defence force is the way to go, as long as it is twinned, somehow with the US/Nato. The problems, of course, are vast! Standardisation of equipment, the Frence leaving/joining at various intervals, etc.
