Send the b/stard in question over to the RAF for the summer to work for bread and water, only, as an aircraft washer!

sorry cygnet but i think you are mistaken, they are not civillians in uniform.
thats why it's the military police are investigating, not the gardai.
if found guilty the person will stand in a military court, not civil.

when you put on that uniform your actions reflect directly on your country and fellow countrymen.

if your a soldier you don't have the right to express free will or make political stands.you follow orders and carry out your duties, plain and simple. '<img'>

have to agree with s-61, hands up how many guys have heard the old chestnut during trg that you'll never be a civie again you would always be an exer. also there might be something in DFR's about protests and expressing your feelings '<img'>

Hey Cygnet, were you pissed when you wrote that? The others are right, though, there are other ways of getting your points of view across. Haven't the people spoken already? The referendum got the majority's voice heard. It could have been a pisstake, why do it in dirt? There used to be a swastika daubed on the wall of tech wing block, that didn't mean that everyone in Baldonnel was a nazi!
In these times of a/c hijacking and al queda it is a bit insensitive though!
