Is it intentional that the type it replaces is the SF
260
W? or just a coincidence?

The last aircraft on the register before the first PC-9M was "258", the Learjet. Serial 259 was skipped and the PC-9M's will be starting at 260 more by coincidence than anything else.

Frank.

the air corps will probally be the first military organisation to use a pc-9 as a primary trainer. the comment of it being to fast is quite true. the students are going to spend about 50 hours chasing the thing around the sky.

Excellent pics Frank !
How long are student pilots expected to train in the simulator, before a 'real' flight in the PC-9's ?
