Sorry John finger trouble! Working on Spitfires and Seafires at the moment. I have never been to RIAT. Duxford I find to be of more interest to me and I will be there in August for a visit and see how Spitfire 161 is and has it got its engine back. Getting the correct Green shade was  difficult but it will look good How did RIAT go?

No AF07 I am not involved in aviation in any form. My interest (and hobby ) is the history of military aviation in Ireland, the Air Corps in particular and also aviation during the emergency. German and Allied aircraft landings, crashes, combats and internees and what happened to the internees after release in 1943/44. Always happy to hear from anyone (except one) who has any information and or photographs.Does this sound like a commercial?
Regards,
Tony K
