Hi all,
I know Im supposed to be in the know but, is there some sort of display going on over Dublins docklands today?
Fistly that silver Lockheed electra from weston flew up and down the liffey, then a cessna caravan, then one of our Dauphins done a few low circuits over the docks before doing a run up the liffey and as it left a white kingair(looked more like a US one than ours as I could have sworn I noticed black and yellow markings on the tail like the USAF's MATS ones??) done a low run down the river?? Beats the hell out of me whats goin on!!

Strange 'goings on' there P Doff !

Does the GASU use the Dauphin or Alouettes much these days ?

Have they ever used the Gazelle ?

A Dauphin spent an lot of time hovering over Croker during both halfs of the Dublin v's Kerry game.

Were they moonlighting for the copper choppers, or just too tight to pay the 35 euros

Most inbounds to Weston from the east make a visual approach along the river, so on busy days there is a good deal of activity.  Saw a Mitsubishi MU-2 doing same yesterday - great sound - probably the based one at EIWT, N60NB.

PS This US-reg'd King Air 200, N500CS, is Weston-based.
