Saw them over the city centre earlier, nice tidy flying, the formation kept pretty close together. A fair few people were looking up at them as they went by. Fair do's to all concerned.

Well done to the guys involved !!

This is the kind of good PR the Corps needs.
Hopefully, the flypast will get some coverage on Irish news programmes ?!!

......and hopefully we will see the PC-9 team flying over other national events, e.g. the GAA finals, etc. etc.

I know it is not really related but today at 6:00 pm in London 2 Dakota's are going to fly up the Thames at 1,000 ft and drop 3 million rose petals in rememberance of the war. I am going to go and watch and take some pics.

I saw the four ship of PC-9's in a tight Diamond formation over Busarus on Wednesday, banking slightly, was very impressed - top flying

Was there any flyover in the end ... did not see any coverage?

As a matter of interest when was the last flyover at a ceremonial event in the city?  I don't there was one for the EU accession? Was there one for the UN parade some years ago ... I have a feeling not?

I know the Vampires used to overfly the Easter Parade in the 1960s but not sure if there was any city ceremonial overflights since that time ... cannot definitively say whether the Fougas flew over any St. Patrick's Day parades ...
