I didnt get to go today.

Will the PC-9's be in action tomorrow (Tues) and/or for the rest of the week ?

Why was a commandant on the Gerry Ryan Show (i.e. talking only about the PC-9's?) ?

There was a lady on, who lives near Gormo wondering what was going on with planes firing near the beach. But she was impressed with the display aerobatics!

Edit: He didnt say how many were involved, just said they [Pilatus PC-9] were being tested.

I was up there today - impressive stuff !

The grey colour scheme of the PC-9 works a treat - it was difficult to see and film !
(Only saw one PC-9 in action, circa 2.30pm).

(L.E. Ciara was also to be seen on the horizon today. Apparently a container ship strayed into the 'danger area' yesterday and had to be intercepted by Ciara).

I believe the PC-9's will be in action on the range for the remainder of this week, and all of next week.

They are armed with 2 x 0.5" FN Brownings and 14 X 2.75" rockets.

Firing stops on Friday.

Their G rating is +7.5 to -3 in normal mode but when armed the +g drops to +4.5g

Was that you, Silver in the H.Civic??

The Dauphin hareing out to turn the container ship was good too, frig all altitude and at full speed.
