The Dutch PC-7 solo display is slated for Bray also but it is not currently on the  Bray Airshow website. I saw this on the Dutch AF Display info. I imagine the PC-7 will use Bal before or after the display.

There is an article on the Airshow in last tuesdays evening Herald. It doesnt give much info about the line up other than the Utterly butterly mob and aerostars I think it said. But it does state that the visiting aircraft will be based in the Don as this is the most expensive part for the organisiers with landing fees and the like.

I have a copy here in front of me. The only picture is that of the Utterly Butterly crew. It also says that Mark jeffries, the european aerobatic champion will display and of course the Aircorps. It mentions that formation teams from all over the world will also display???? Intresting!.
Actually, it says more than I gave it credit for earlie, sorry.

I suddenly feel all giddy... '<img'> (prays for some fast jets) ':p'

Does that mean they will do their practice displays at the Don or at Bray? Could be a busy few days before the show itself..

Hi Frank + Friends

There was indeed an article in last Tues Herald, the info given was by our safety officer of the event and was a bit sketchy!!

I understand the RNAF PC-7 will be attending the show and have invitations out to several European Air Forces and should have word back w/c 11/04/05

We also hope to bring ex IAC Spitfire 161 over from Duxford for event, the site will be updated next week(if franks not to busy) and just for the record we will be using either Weston or Newcastle for basing of Civil acts.

Anyone know where the Spitfire and Dutch PC-7 will operate from?  I guess the Dutch will fly from Baldonnel - will the Spit do the same and will there be practice displays. say on Friday?

Hi SF,

As far as I know the Dutch PC-7 will be based at Baldonnel and they usually do a practise display on the Friday.

As for the Spitfire I'm unsure what the situation is with that yet.

At 1800 local, Spitfire T.9 G-CCCA (IAC 161) was seen doing a fast run across Dublin city and then landing at Weston.

The Spitfire will be operating from Weston only, The PC7's will be at Baldonnel. They had not departed Nederland when checked at 14.00hrs. Weather problems.
