I have two kits (1/48) for the Hurricane and I would like to build them in Air Corps colours Can anyone help with the colour schemes for the mark 1 and 2C. There is not much information in the Air Corps book recently published celebrating 100 years which I have .

do you know about max decals? they do decal sheets for the air corps and they usually have some painting info (only descriptive ie "dark green" not a humbrol reference etc)
heres a photo in a customer photo section of the webiste

Great photo of his models, Buran. I didn't know that the IAC Hurricanes had contra-rotating propellors! (Maybe it was the shadow!) I've got a couple of sheets from Max Decals of IAC markings and like you say they give a description and some details. I just wish I could get some time to finish my Puma model and use them!

Thanks Guys I have a number of the Max Decals sets they are very good but I was wondering what way the undersides were finished. I see that the cannon Hurricane was in a different colour.

The hurricanes were never built with contra rotating props, that is just shadow in the photo.
I dont know what colour the underside should be, but i think the gladiator (in service around that period) had silver undersides.

Thanks, Buran. Did anyone else notice that tree that's grown frighteningly close to the ramp by the time the Vampire and Fougas had arrived! At least it got trimmed back a bit before they parked the Alouette and Gazelle!

Ladies and Gentlemen!
As you may or may not know I´m in creating so called "skins" for the aircrafts in the IL-2 flight simulator ... I´d say that I´m an average "skinner" ...
Talking of the Hurricane I´d like to present you my latest work ... my version of a Hurricane colour scheme ...
Enjoy it!
