Suggest that the present style logo be retained in all aircraft which would operate outside national territory and other aircraft have the logo Air Corps. Many years ago attempts were made to have "Army" placed on all aircraft.

When you say 'current logo' I presume you mean the (tri-colour) celtic boss?

If so, I wasn't suggesting that it should be discontinued.
I was saying that 'IRISH AIR CORPS' or 'AIR CORPS' be placed alongside the logo to make sure people know that they are Air Corps aircraft.

When was the 'ARMY' logo suggested?
(Haven't heard of that before)

Regards,
Silver.

The general rule in all signage is to keep the message as minimalist as possible.

Incidently, saw an AIII in impeccable livery (the red of the French Securite Civile or Civil Defence) in France the other other week ... a class machine no matter what colour scheme

Yes, somebody else also suggested having the Engish name on one side of aircraft and the Irish name on the other.
