I do remember a VIP Blackhawk but it had luxious seats in the back.
Looking at the pics above you can see right through the doors and in my opinion it looks like the cargo area is clear.

I do wonder what the red/purple emblem beneath the cockpit is.
Anyone an idea??

I was talking to the crew last year and they are a VIP transport squadron or whatever. The layout of the interior depends on how "VIP" the passengers are. If I remember correctly it can take something like 6 pax in the height of comfort with padded chairs and the like or in its normal grunt moving role it can take something like 15 with variations in between!! (now dont go jumping down my throat if I got the figures slightly wrong , you get the general idea!!)

Hi Guys,

I spoke to one of the pilots at the air show and he also said that they were something of a VIP transport unit, something similar or possible even attached to or part of the US Embassy flights.

Regards,

Frank.

Thanks for backing me up Frank. Also you may have noticed the Crest it made of Steel and is just housed in a slot on the door and you can just pull it out and put in another one.

Tony, thanks for the emblem and Frank & Fouga.......... you're right.

Is this the unit that used to be stationed on Cheivres AFB in Belgium??
They used to flu blue/white UH-1 helicopters as VIP transport.
