recently another apprentice competion opened and has since closed.I applied to this and heard nothing.I then heard yesterday that the interviews were held a few weeks ago, what a joke, why wasnt i called?? i clearly met the requirements,i have all the EASA part-66 theory done, just waitin to do the exams, the fact the application wasn't even acknowledged.however its no skin off my teeth,as i prob will be signing off and working on aircraft before any of these apprentices will,i would of loved to be in the air corps as a mechanic/engineer but obviously now im a bit disillusioned with the process, does anyone know who i can get in contact with to find out why?

You could try contacting the DOD Competitions Section using the details below:
Specialist Competitions
Recruitment Office
Human Resource Section
Defence Forces Headquarters
Coláiste Caoimhín, Mobi Road
Glasnevin, Dublin 7
01-8042144/49 Fax: 01-8042412
Info taken from the
Military.ie Apprentice Competition information page.
I don't know if they can tell you anything but there's no harm in asking.
Regards,
Frank.
