But unfortunatly it doesn`t have high res imagery of the area since its only new. Give it time though.
You`ll have to have broadband to use it btw.

Thank you future pilot ... does this site have high res of any part of Ireland.. are there any other sites where aerial/satellite photography of Ireland is freely accessible?

It has Dublin city centre and most of the northside, not the southside for some reason. Its only the Beta version but is already extremely popular so I`m sure they`ll get around to doing most of Ireland soon enough.

The runway in Gormo can be just about seen if you look hard enough!

There's also a large online forum where users contribute locations of anything interesting they have located around the world. Some absolutely brilliant viewings. The military section is particularly interesting, especially with regard to the US.

When on the thread, click the 'open this placement' link and you will be brought directly to the spot on Google Earth programme.
