Does anyone know did 161 return to Duxford today?

I have my doubts Tony, 'observer her at about 1300 heading west-south-west over Celbridge.It appeard about an hour later on a reverse course at high speed, did it visit Bal'?
It was later seen flying in formation which appeard to be a PC-7 [orange-yellow in colour] but I am not swearing to this. The formation was side-by-side, with less then a wingspan between both aircrafts. It did not fly close enough to me for photographs. Both aircrafts circled to the north-west of Celbridge and then seemed to land at Weston.
I did not see it again, and was unable to visit Weston this afternoon. '<img'>

Hi guys,

Spitfire 161 did return to Duxford yesterday. He conducted a few pleasure flights before leaving. The aircraft it was flying in formation with was Yak-52 (G-MCCY) and it was an air to air photo shoot for FlyingInIreland Magazine (Next months Issue - October 2005).  Both aircraft descended and did a low fly by down the runway at Weston and then it headed for Duxford. I was in the Beech 18 and we were hoping to fly it with the Spitfire and have the Yak take photos of both the Beech 18 and the Spit. Unfortunately we got a stuck right brake at the hold short point and counldn't take part '<img'>

Not even a low pass over Casement? I find this incredible, as I am sure the IAC would have loved to get pics of 161 back on its home turf.  Presumably the aircraft is insured to land at airfields in the UK, and would have needed insurance for Weston,  so what was the insurance problem in relation to Casement?
