3 'copter formation over Dublin 30/9/05
« on: September 30, 2005, 04:26:24 pm »
Just spotted a nice little formation flying slow and (fairly) low over south Dublin City (St. Stephens Green/Christchruch area) today about 16:00.

What looked like the GASU EC135 and AS355 more or less line astern with a Dauphin to the right of them, undercarraige down, heading westward.

Anyone know what was going on? Photo op maybe? Just caught sight of them as I went past Dublin Castle.

Saw them too and was going to start a thread of my own but you beat me to it '<img'>
They were flying in very close formation and slowly.
Haven`t a clue why though.

Thanks Guys

the photos should look great, the city had just received a doucing of rain and the sun was just peeking out from behind the clouds when I saw the formation.

Will keep an eye out for the calander
