Comments: Robinson R.22 Beta, EI-JWM (c/n 1386), at the F1 Karting track, Oranmore, Ireland, 13 February 2001. The colour scheme reflects its previous use as an "eye in the sky" traffic observer. EI-JWM was written off in an accident at Glenbeigh Strand, Co. Kerry, on 9 April 2002, when a training flight ended in a heavy landing. There were no injuries, but the R.22 was too severely damaged to be repaired. |
