Large Picture Comments: The prototype TU-114 Rossyia, used in 1959 to fly Nikita Khruschev to the USA & later China. Now only 3 of the 38 built survive, the preserved examples at Domodedovo & Vnukovo were broken up during June/July '06. The aviation museum at Ulyanovsk have one on display & the Technical School at Kriviy Rig, Ukraine, use one as an instructional airframe.

Large Picture Comments: RA-85833 was built in 2001 & the last of 1018 TU-154's off the production line. The type first flew 4th October 1968, regular passenger services started in February 1972. Samara based Aviakor are reported to have up to 8 TU-154 unfinished airframes, but these may well be dumped as the company takes on building the Antonov 140.
