Large Picture Comments: In 1997 a number of South East Asian countries suffered a financial crisis with South Korea being badly hit. As a result, the daily KE907 flight from Seoul, normally operated by a Boeing 747-400, was replaced by smaller equipment, usually a Boeing 777 but occasionally a Boeing 747SP would be used. HL7457 is caught here moments from touching down on runway 27R as dusk begins to fall on a clear February afternoon.
