Airbus A380 Shannon Visit

Has anyone on the forum any pics of the Airbus A-380’s arrival to Shannon & Could there a slight chance of a return visit

I have a photo of it touching down at Shannon from Dublin Airport Staff Magazine which have a article on it, so will post it when i get a chance.

Has any member been to watch it touch down
aparantly they had to "Tame the beast" in a crosswind approach & Landing Irekon it must have been difficult given the wingspan!

Sadly id say that will be the last we'll see the giant bird near our shores unless Dublin airport have plans to accomadate Two Story Boarding gate in the expantion plan

FED EX had cancelled orders due to Delays on the proposed delevery date 'thev'e seem to have gone for Boeing 777s instead
that may have been the only chance of the A-380 arriving in the near future .....Do you think?

There can be a pretty nasty wind shear on the runway as aircraft pass the Aerospace hangar.

The video link was brilliant!
Looked fairly stable, even with the amount of “yaw” needed to make the landing.
Take off was a bit hairy, but still a delight to view!!
