Comments: The widebody derivative of the AS.350 Squirrel is still quite rare in Europe. Two are registered in Ireland, including this one, EI-LNK, c/n 3382. Both are based at Shannon, operated by Links Helicopters, a company associated with Mr. Wayne Huizenga, the owner of the Miami Dolphins football team and of B.737-75T(BBJ) N737WH. The EC.130s are at his disposal when he is on one of his frequent visits to Ireland, and at other times they are available for air taxi work. EI-LNK was photographed at the Glenlo Abbey Hotel, Bushy Park, just outside Galway city, on 2 August 2002. |
