Comments:
Complex looking machine with bi-fold wings, relatively small contrarotating props which allows them to be packed tight below decks. Each prop is driven by its own engine which allowed one to be shut down in flight to increase range.

The Bristol Double Mamba turbine engine. Something like 4000bhp driven through contra rotating props. A good view of the folding wings too.

Comments:
Ship borne early warning aircraft. reliably informed that they were retired just before the Falklands conflict, hence the number of Royal Navy casualties!
